Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2018 for transfer of patta in respect of Agricultural Dry land measuring to an extent of 4.50 acres comprised in Paimash No.138 of Chennasandiram Village (Elesandram), Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
2.The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2018 for transfer of patta in respect of Agricultural Dry land measuring to an extent of 4.50 acres comprised in Paimash No.138 of Chennasandiram Village (Elesandram), Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.11.2018 to the respondent seeking to transfer patta in respect of the aforesaid property. The respondent also vide proceedings dated 22.11.2018 directed the petitioner to attend enquiry on 27.11.2018 and the petitioner had also attended the enquiry. But no orders have been passed on the same till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
5. Heard Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, and also affording due opportunity of hearing to him as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
