ORDER
The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representations dated 22.11.2013 and 5.12.2013 and cancel the patta issued to the third respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent. I have also heard the learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of R1 and R2.
3. The petitioner has got an alternative remedy, under the Patta Pass Book Act, by initiating appropriate proceedings before the statutory authority. There is no question of issuing a writ in a matter of this nature.

4. The writ petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings under the Patta Pass Book Act. No costs.
