ORDER

The present revision has been filed against the order of interim maintenance granted to the respondents herein. The Court below had directed the petitioner herien to pay maintenance at the rate of Rs.3,000/- per month each to the respondents herein. Challenging the said order, the revision petitioner/husband had preferred this revision.

2. Earlier on 14.03.2017, this Court while granting interim stay had directed the petitioner to deposit 50% of the arrears of maintenance as awarded by the Court below and also continue to pay the interim maintenance before 5th of every calender month.

3. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner filed on memo stating that as ordered by this court, the petitioner had deposited 50% of the arrears of maintenance [i.e.Rs.36,000/-] on 03.04.2017.

4. I have heard the Mrs.G.Muthu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Sundar, learned counsel for the respondents.

5. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the trail had already been commenced and sought for a direction for early disposal of the maintenance case.

6. Taking into consideration the submissions made and the fact that the trial had already been commenced, the Court below is directed to conclude the trial on or before 24.06.2017. However, till the disposal of the maintenance case, the petitioner is directed to pay maintenance at the rate of Rs.3,000/- per month to the respondents without any default.

7. With the above observation, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions is closed.
