2.On instructions from the Inspector of Police, Uthiramerur Police Station, Uthiramerur, Kancheepuram District, Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that all the persons above named were taken to the police station for investigation in connection with Crime No.227 of 2014 under Sections 457 and 380 of I.P.C. During enquiry, there was no incriminating evidence against Saravanan. Hence, he was allowed to go along with his wife Saroja. Therefore, on 07.02.2015, they were produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthiramerur and sent to judicial custody. Saravanan is at large. Other two persons are in judicial custody. In the light of the above, this Court is of the view that there is no case for illegal detention. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
