This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give suitable protection to Arulmigu Sri Gengai Amman Temple festival going to be held on 27.05.2016 and 30.05.2016 at Chithanakanavai Village, Pernampet Taluk, Vellore District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the temple festival was over by 30.05.2016. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
