This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2024 in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Madurai Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.12219 of 2014 dated 25.08.2014 and promote the petitioner as Checking Inspector from the year 2019 with all consequential benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 10, 12, 15 & 16 and the learned counsel appearing for the 14th respondent and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2024 and pass orders, in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Madurai Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.12219 of 2014 dated 25.08.2014, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
