ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders passed by this Court, dated 24.11.2010 made in W.P.No.1192 of 2004.

2. After several hearings, the matter has come up for hearing today also, where the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in respect of the calculation of the salary due payable to the petitioner, of course to some extent the interest for the belated payment, the second respondent Management having calculated the amount to the extent of Rs.4,01,383/- has given a Demand Draft dated 19.02.2021, which the petitioner's counsel has received and he would submit that, even though there is a sum of around Rs.40,000/- to 45,000/- still be the due towards the interest, on instructions from the petitioner, he would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to forego the said amount. Therefore he would submit that, the orders of this Court can be treated as complied with fully.

3. The said position is also endorsed by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent / Management. 2/4

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after having received the Demand Draft for the aforesaid sum, which is treated as the full settlement, this Court feel that, there can be no further issue pending in this contempt petition.

5. Accordingly, recording the aforesaid development, this Contempt Petition is closed.
