ORDER

When the matter came up on 16.10.2020, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already arrears of salary which was held in the S.B.account was paid to the petitioner. Therefore, the learned Special Government Pleader was directed to produce acknowledgment of the petitioner as regards the payment.

2. Today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a copy of the acknowledgment given by the petitioner. The learned Special Government Pleader further submitted that the balance arrears including E.P.F., amount at Rs.38,546/- [Rupees Thirty Eight https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers

thousand five hundred and forty six only] had been included in the present payment and produced cheque No.044727 dated 28.10.2020 drawn at The Kancheepuram Central Co.op Bank Ltd. The said cheque was handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

3. Recording the payment of arrears by way of cheque to the counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
