ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.08.2021 to survey the above said property and identify the boundaries. 1/4

2. In respect of the land at Town Survey No.3141 at Vellore, the petitioner, in order to survey the land and to identify four boundaries, had given an application on 07.08.2021 and also paid necessary fee to that effect subsequently. Despite that, so far, no action has been taken by the respondent to measure the land. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Heard Ms.T.Sreelekha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate would submit that, the said application, submitted by the petitioner, would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by completing the survey within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:

That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 07.08.2021 and do the needful by completing the survey within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
