O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 11.06.2013 seeking for cancellation of patta in respect of S.No.34/3 measuring an extent of 01.18 acres situated at Pachambakkam Madura Pasavanatham Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District within a reasonable time.

2.It is the case of the petitioners that the appeal preferred by them on 11.06.2013 before the 3rd respondent has not yet been disposed of.

3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2013 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

4.Having regard to the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader and also the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2013 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
