PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the third respondent with No. Nil dated 11.01.2025 issued by the 3rd Respondent and to quash the same and consequently to direct the 3rd Respondent to conduct the Elections for the remaining 4 seats of Directors in the Director Board of Karaiyambuthur Primary Agricultural Co- Operative Bank Ltd, and to declare the results including the candidates who were elected unopposed.

ORDER
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he has filed a writ petition to quash the order passed by the 3rd respondent in No. Nil dated 11.01.2025 and consequently to direct the 3rd Respondent to conduct the elections for the remaining 4 seats of Directors in the Board of Director of Karaiyambuthur Primary Agricultural Co- Operative Bank Ltd. He also seeks a declaration of the election the results, including the candidates who were Page No.2 of 5
elected unopposed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the election notification was published on 28.12.2024, the list of candidates after scrutiny was published on 09.01.2025 and the last date for the withdrawal of nomination is 11.01.2025. He further submits that due to a law and order issue, the process was stopped. However, the process is now being resumed by the Election Officer, who will be nominated by the 1st respondent and the election will be conducted as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
