ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to produce the son of the petitioner, G.Vijayan 28 years, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

2. This Petition does not survive at this moment for the reason that, as on the date of filing the HCP, namely on 06.02.2015, it was a case where the petitioner's son was missing, but, subsequent developments as reported by the learned Additional https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Public Prosecutor show that, the detenu Vijayan died on 07.07.2015 after consuming poison and his father also has given a complaint, on the basis of which a case in Cr.No.497 of 2015 was registered for an offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C and after inquest and postmortem, the body was handed over to the petitioner/father. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the Death Certificate which showed that Vijayan died on 07.07.2015. Recording the same, this petition is closed.
