Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the strike of contract workmen organised by respondent Nos.1 to 5 or any one or more of them, which commenced in the Units of the petitioner-Corporation from 19.09.2010, as illegal and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to forbear from any mode of illegal strike or other agitation within or in the vicinity of the installations of the petitioner-Corporation.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a declaration to declare that the strike of contract workmen organised by respondent Nos.1 to 5 or any one or more of them, which commenced in the Units of the petitionerCorporation from 19.09.2010, as illegal and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to forbear from any mode of illegal strike or other agitation within or in the vicinity of the installations of the petitioner-Corporation.
2. The relief, as such, sought for deserves no adjudication at this length of time on account of the fact that the cause aroused for the purpose of filing the present writ petition did not exist as of now. The present writ petition was filed in respect of the strike declared by the Unions during the year 2010.
3. On account of efflux of time, the relevancy has been lost and accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
