ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking to punish the respondent for having disobeyed the order of this Court dated 19.11.2019 passed in Crl.O.P.No.27513 of 2019.

2. Mr.R.Dhanarasu, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharapuram Sub Division, Tiruppur District is present before this Court today.

3. In continuation of the earlier order of this Court dated 19.11.2019, the Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur, had appointed a new Investigation Officer, who had conducted a fresh enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.12.2018. On enquiry, the Investigating Officer was of the view that the complaint is civil in nature and accordingly, had filed a closure report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, Uthukuli, Tiruppur District, which was taken on file as CMP.No.984 of 2022 on 06.04.2022.

3. Hence, the disobedience alleged against the respondent cannot be termed as willful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
