Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to act upon the 2nd respondent's recommendation in Letter No.F2/5045/2017 dated 14.06.2018 and consequently promote the petitioner to the post of DCTO by including his name in the list of DCTO for the year 2015 in accordance with his seniority.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to act upon the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent in his letter dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

14.06.2018 and consequently to promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Commercial Tax Officer [DCTO]. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader (T), submitted that the petitioner has already been granted promotion by the proceedings of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, dated 03.09.2019. The concerned promotion order was also placed before this Court.

3. In view of the above development, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is closed after recording the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader. No costs.
