The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police herein to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his trust and Church members. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.It is seen that the petitioner seeks Police protection to the petitioner and his trust and Church members. 3.Heard, Mr.C.D.Johnson, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and C.Raghavan, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4.Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action before the first respondent Police. On receipt of the same, the first respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry on the petition filed by the petitioner with the counter parties namely, the respondents 2 to 4 and pass orders in accordance with law. 5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
