ORDER
The grievance of the petitioner is that though she had enrolled herself in the Employment Exchange, her name was not sponsored by 6th respondent herein in view of she had not crossed the upper age limit for the appointment to the post of Pharmacist. According to the petitioner, the upper age limit was relaxed in the case of similarly placed candidates 2/4
and therefore, she is entitled to be sponsored irrespective of the fact that she has crossed the age limit.

The learned Additional Advocate General had produced a copy of the Notification No.1/MRB/E4/2014 dated 09.01.2014 issued by the Medical Services Recruitment Board whereby, it is seen that the petitioner was sponsored by the Employment Exchange and she had also participated in the selection process, however, had failed to qualify therein.
3. The selection process in which the petitioner was permitted, was after relaxation of her age limit. Thus, the very basis on which the petitioner seeks for issuance of writ of mandamus, is unfounded in view of the fact that her upper age limit was relaxed and she was called for interview. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 13.10.2022 Index:Yes/No Sni M.S.RAMESH,J.
