PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent police to register FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2021.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the preliminary enquiry had been conducted based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2021 and the enquiry has been closed as Civil in nature.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner was not called for enquiry and the closure report is also not been served on the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to furnish the closure report to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such furnishing of closure report, the petitioner is at liberty to file the appropriate protest petition before the jurisdictional Court.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
