This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to produce the detenue, by name Raji @ Rajeswari, aged about 40 years and to produce her before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner is the son of the detenue. According to him, his father deserted the family long ago. The detenue-mother was running a bangle vending store. It is further stated that the detenue was found missing since 28.1.2015. According to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent, who was running a shop, opposite to the shop run by the detenue, has illegally detained the detenue. In this connection, a complaint was given to the respondent-Police and the same was registered in Cr.No.18/2015. As there is no progress in the matter, the present petition has been filed.

3. Though the matter has not been listed today, at the instance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the matter has been taken up for hearing. Today, the detenue was produced before the Court by the 1st respondent-Police. The petitioner, the son of the detenue, was also present before the Court. On being enquired, the detenue had stated that she had left the home, on her own, with the 2nd respondent and that they both got married. She had also expressed her unwillingness to go along with her son, the petitioner herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
