This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, to quash the proceedings in STC No.1462 of 2015 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Vedaranyam, Nagapattinam District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that this petitioner is facing trial in STC.No.1463 of 2015, challenging which, he filed Crl.OP.No.3577 of 2016, which was dismissed by a learned Single Judge of this Court on 07.04.2016. On the same grounds, the present prosecution in STC.No.1462 of 2015 has been challenged in this quash petition.

4. In the light of the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.3577 of 2016 dated 07.04.2016, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

raise all points before the trial Court.
