Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to register the Plot No.89A of an extent of 3200 sq.ft., at 1st Main Road, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Adambakkam, Chennai in favour of the petitioner at Rs.1800/- per sq.ft., within a specified date.

O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to register the Plot No.89A of an extent of 3200 sq.ft., at 1st Main Road, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Adambakkam, Chennai in favour of the petitioner at Rs.1800/- per sq.ft., within a specified date.

2. This Court had an occasion to consider the similar issue in the case of K.Marappan vs The Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Namakkal Circle, Namakkal - 636 001 reported in 2006 (4) CTC 689.

3. In the light of the above decision cited supra, the writ petition is not maintainable. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate Authority for the relief as prayed in this writ petition. No costs.
