O R D E R

Contempt Petition has been filed for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court, made in Crl.O.P.No.11710 of 2013, dated 3/6/2013.

2. By an order, dated 3/6/2013, this Court had passed the following order:- "Considering the submissions made by both sides, I am of the opinion that it would be appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.318 of 2013 on merits and in accordance with law and file a final report before the concerned Court as early as possible.

Accordingly, a direction is issued and the criminal original petition is disposed of."

3. Ms.A.Shrijayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the State submits that investigation has been completed. Police filed a report, in C.C.No.265 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvotriyur. She further states that trial has ended in favour of the petitioner.

4. In view of the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing survives in the instant Contempt Petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
