ORDER

This Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to declare and appoint the petitioner as the legal guardian of Mirithyun (minor).

2. The matter is settled through mediation, and a mediation report has also been obtained along with a Memorandum of Understanding entered 1/4

into between the petitioner and the respondent.

3. As per the Memorandum of Understanding, the respondent had accepted the guardianship of the petitioner herself and he relinquished his right to get himself to be appointed as the guardian for the minor child. He also relinquished the visitation and custody of the child. They have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, by incorporating the above along with other terms.

4. Both parties present before this Court and they stated that they have voluntarily agreed to the terms of understanding, especially with regard to the custody and guardianship of the child as stated therein.

5. In view of the same, the Memorandum of Understanding is recorded and the petition is disposed of in terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, which shall form part of the order. Consequently, connected O.A.No.145 of 2023 is closed.
