Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order dated 03.05.2005 in G.O.Rt.No.427, Commercial Taxes (H-1) Department and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent herein to promote the petitioner as Assistant Inspector General of Registration with effect from 03.05.2005 with all attendant benefits.

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the writ petitioner had already been promoted vide G.O.Ms.No.80, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department dated 02.06.2010. 2.In view of the fact that the grievances of the writ petitioner had already been redressed. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, writ petition stands closed. No costs.
