Today, this appeal is listed under the caption "For Withdrawal" based on the memo dated 19.02.2021 submitted by the

learned counsel appearing for the appellant. The learned counsel for the appellant also sought permission of this Court to withdraw this appeal. The said Memo is extracted hereunder: "1. The Appellant herein has preferred the present Appeal under Section 260A of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (the 'Act') challenging the order dated 19.11.2019 passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal ('ITAT'), 'B' Bench, Chennai in ITA No.47/CHNY/2018 for the Assessment Year 2013-14 ("AY").

The Appellant herein most humbly submits that as per the 'Vivad Se Vishwas' Scheme and Act, 2020, the appellant herein has preferred to opt for the above mentioned scheme as stipulated vide the notification No.CG-DL-E-17032020-218716 dated 17.03.2020 and through the same act the appellant herein has settled all of his tax dues and thus the appellant herein prefers to withdraw the appeal".

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant and recording the memo, the Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
