Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings in Rc.No.A1/51088/03 dated 27.2.2004 on the file of the Commissioner, Co-operative Food and Consumer Protection Department, Chepauk, Chennai - 600 005 (the first respondent herein) and to quash the same and forbear the respondents 1 and 2 herein from enforcing the TAMIL NADU ESSENTIAL TRADE ARTICLES(REGULATION OF TRADE) ORDER 1984 made by the Government of Tamil Nadu and in respect of PULSES, EDIBLE OIL SEEDS AND EDIBLE OILS(STORAGE CONTROL) ORDER 1977, in so far as the commodities specified in Clause 3 of the REMOVAL OF (LICENSING REQUIREMENTS, STOCK LIMITS AND MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS) ON SPECIFIED FOOD STUFFS ORDER 2002, as modified by G.S.R.490(E) DATED 16.6.2003, made by the Central Government, and to grant https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prayer in the writ petition has already became infructuous and he had also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
