Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant marks to the Question Nos. 6,50,60 and 108 for Question Papers series code D to the petitioner with a consequential direction to the respondents to select the petitioner to the post of Post Graduate Assistant in Economics for the year 2011-2012 in the unfilled vacancy within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that though the Writ petition has been filed for the relief of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to award marks to the Question Question Nos. 6, 50, 60 and 108 for Question Papers series code D to the petitioner with a consequential direction to the respondents to select the petitioner to the post of Post https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Graduate Assistant in Economics for the year 2011-2012 in the unfilled vacancy within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court, however the petitioner has field this petition in the way back 2013 and without obtaining any interim order in favour of him, after lapse of 7 years, nothing survive survive for further adjudication.

2. In view of the fair submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition and, accordingly the present petition stands dismissed. However there shall be no order as to costs.
