Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order in Lr.No.O.Mu.15556/ 2015 / T1 dated 10.07.2015, passed by the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to sanction the medical claim amount of Rs.1,59,766/- which incurred towards the petitioner's daughter's medical expenses while she was undergone Laparoscopi Cholecystectomy surgery on 27.05.2014 at Billroth Hospitals, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai 600 028.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 21.08.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner absent and therefore Registry was directed to list the matter under caption 'for dismissal'. When the matter was called this morning, 2/5

learned counsel for the petitioner was not present and therefore to give an opportunity, the matter was passed-over. Post lunch, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition and therefore the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
