A. No.594 of 2024 A. Nos.594 and 595 of 2024 in C.S. No.528 of 2019 ABDUL QUDDHOSE, J.

These applications have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 24 days in filing the written statements of the 1st and 2nd defendants. The applicants have stated that since the documents filed by the plaintiff were not received by them earlier, there was delay in filing the written statements.

2. This Court is of the considered view that sufficient reasons have been given by the defendants for not filing the written statements on time.

3. As sufficient cause has been shown, this Court is allowing these applications. Accordingly, the written statements filed by the defendants are taken on record.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents has also not raised any serious objection for allowing these applications.

5. Post the matter for filing of Affidavit of Admission / Denial of documents on 19.02.2024.
