ORDER

This writ petition is heard through Videoconferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 1.7.2013 and 7.7.2013 and thereby direct the respondents 1 to 5 to take suitable action for conducting the Kumbabishegam function to the Sri Kunniamman Temple at Mettu Kunnathur Village, Kunnathur Madura Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District either on 14.7.2013 or any other subsequent date by all the community people including the petitioner and the respondents 6 to 9.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, a Peace Committee meeting was held by the Tahsildar/third respondent on 11.07.2013, wherein, it was agreed by the petitioner as well as the other respondents that the Kumbabishegam can be conducted on 14.07.2013. The copy of the proceedings are also produced by the learned Government Advocate. As agreed in the Peace Committee meeting, the Kumbabishegam of the temple was performed on 14.07.2013.
