Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4, to forbear the respondents 5 to 11 from operating their respective stage carriage services from Milk Market to old bus stand via. Government Hospital, Collector Office, in violation of the order of the first respondent made in R.No.44709/81/87, dated 01.07.1993 and further direct the said respondents to operate their vehicles to mofussil bus stand in accordance with the judgment of this Court made in W.P.No.22264 of 1994 dated 03.08.1994 and in accordance with the order of the first respondent made in R.No.44709/81/87 dated 01.07.1993 under which they are directed to operate their mofussil services to the new bus stand via four road, Chathiram, Milk Market, Lorry Stand, Thirumalai Theatre.

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4, to forbear the respondents 5 to 11 from operating their respective stage carriage services from Milk Market to old bus stand via Government Hospital, Collector Office, in violation of the order of the first respondent made in R.No.44709/81/87, dated 01.07.1993 and further direct the said respondents to operate their vehicles to mofussil bus stand in accordance with the judgment of this Court made in W.P.No.22264 of 1994 dated 03.08.1994 and in accordance with the order of the first respondent made in 2/5

R.No.44709/81/87 dated 01.07.1993 under which they are directed to operate their mofussil services to the new bus stand via four road, Chathiram, Milk Market, Lorry Stand, Thirumalai Theatre.

Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and submits that the Collector has passed an order by proceedings dated 20.01.2023 wherein it is ordered that all the mofussil buses should ply from new bus stand and to be halted there itself. All the Town Bus operators are to ply their town buses from the old bus stand and halted there itself. The Mofussil buses issued with permits to ply from Salem New Bus Stand toward Elampillai (via) Siddhar Koil should ply from New Bus Stand as per the following direction: New Bus Stand - towards Chatiram - Milk Market - Lorry Stand - Thirumagal Theatre and then toward Elampillai and beyond.

As the order has already been passed by the Collector, the respondents are directed to communicate the copy of the order to the petitioner. In view of the same, no further order is required in this writ petition. 3/5
