When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submits that there has been a further developments in this case, pending the writ petition and even the employees of the second respondent union have already left the service through voluntary retirement scheme in the year 2006 itself and nothing further survives to be decided in this writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
