2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant and the learned counsel for the second respondent/Insurance Company.

3. Sufficient reasons have been given in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Accordingly, the delay is condoned and the petition is allowed.

4. It is made clear that the claimants will not be entitled for any interest for the delay period of 2386 days.
