This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 657 days in filing the criminal appeal as against Judgment dated 10.02.2023 passed in C.A.No.324 of 2018 on the file of XVII Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 657 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.
