ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. It is not disputed that the petitioner is occupying the government land.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given a representation.
4. According to learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is an encroacher. Along with the petitioner, there are other encroachers and the Government is taking action against all the encroachers.
5. Naturally, the Government can take action against the encroacher, however, in accordance with law. They shall follow the
provisions of law while taking action against the encroachers. The respondents shall take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2020 on its own merits.
6. The writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
