I heard Mr.V.K.Vijayaraghavan, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, Ms.R.J.Radhika, the learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.L.G.Saghadevan, the learned counsel for Respondent 3.

2. In this writ petition, the Petitioner challenges the order dated 20.08.2002 of the second Respondent reversing the order of the first Respondent dated 04.02.1999. By order dated 04.02.1999, the Revenue Divisional Officer directed that the names of Visalakshi and Valli Meyappan be entered as regards the lands in S.No.296/18. This was subsequently reversed by the order dated 20.08.2002 which is under challenge herein.

3. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by granting leave to the Petitioner to approach the appropriate civil Court in order to establish her rights.

4. The learned counsel for the Respondents do no have any objection to this course of action.

5. It is evident that the subject matter of the writ petition is a contested claim over land, which should be decided by the competent civil Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the Petitioner to approach the appropriate civil court in order to establish her title to the lands in question or claim any rights therein.
