ORDER
W.P.No.22916 of 2010:- W.P.No.22916 of 2010 has been filed for direction directing the respondents herein to include the petitioner route "Bangalore to Pondicherry" in the inter-state agreement to be entered into between the State of Karnataka and
Union Territory of Pondicherry.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the request made by the petitioners to include the petitioner route "Bangalore to Pondicherry" in the inter-state agreement to be entered into between the State of Karnataka and Union Territory of Pondicherry is still pending and as such, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. W.P.No.22917 of 2010:-
4. Insofar as W.P.No.22917 of 2010 is concerned, the petitioner sought for grant of temporary permit to the petitioner on the route Bangalore to Pondicherry till such time the route to include in the inter-state agreement.
5. Now, from the year 2015, no temporary permit is allowed to be granted to operate the bus.
6. In view of the above, after considering the route between Bangalore to
Pondicherry in the inter-state agreement of State of Karnataka and Union Territory of Pondicherry, the petitioner is at liberty to apply for permission afresh to operate the bus route from Bangalore to Pondicherry.
7. With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
