Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that pending this contempt petition, the petitioner sent a letter to the Land Acquisition Officer to refer the matter to the Lok Adalat and same is under progress. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader and considering the subsequent developments, there is no contempt and hence the Contempt Petition is closed.
