ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard.
2. Though number of grounds have been urged to assail the correctness and validity of the orders and proceedings by which the name of the petitioner has been removed from the voters' list, we do not find any exceptional circumstance or ground so as to warrant interference by the Writ Court, when there exists an alternative and efficacious statutory remedy of appeal provided under Section 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
Therefore, with the liberty reserved, this petition is dismissed. The period during which this petition remained pending shall be excluded for the purpose of computing period of limitation for filing appeal. There shall be no order as to costs.
