ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J) Petitioner has sought for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Director, Board of Apprenticeship Training, (Southern Region), Chennai/the respondent herein, to consider his representation, dated 26.10.2017.
2. Supporting the prayer sought for, petitioner has contended that he is a Diploma Holder in Engineering and he has a electrical "C" license. He has further contended that, ITI finished persons get Rs.7,200/- per month. He further contended that Diploma Holders, get Rs.3,542/- per month. BE completed persons, get Rs.4,984/- per month. He further contended that it is a discrimination. Therefore, petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent, to enhance the
stipend for apprentice for Diploma Holders and BE Graduates, so far, the same has not been considered. Hence, petitioner has filed the instant writ petition, for the prayer as stated supra.

On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, by inviting the attention of this Court to the letter, dated 14.02.2018, Mr.M.L.Ravi and Senthil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Regional Central Apprenticeship Adviser, Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), Chennai, has sent a reply. He has sought for a liberty to implead the said board, to pursue further.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

Letter dated 14.02.2018 sent by the Regional Central Apprenticeship Adviser/Director of Training, Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), Chennai, in response to the letter dated 27.10.2017 of the petitioner, is as follows:- "F.No.BAT/SRP/78-WP/17 14th February MEMORANDUM With reference to your letter dt.27.10.17, we infer that you are requesting this office to issue instructions to all Govern Establishments, including TANGEDCO, to pay stipend to Graduates/Diploma holders in Engineering, more than the stipend payable to ITI Apprentices. According to latest GSR issued, Engineering Graduates are eligible to get a monthly stipend of Rs.4894/- & Diploma Holders in Engineering are eligible to get a monthly stipend of Rs.3542/-. The rates of monthly stipend (statutory) is fixed through issue of GSR by Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India only."
6. Grievance of the petitioner is to direct the respondent to consider his representation, dated 26.10.2017. Said representation, has been answered. No further direction
is required in this writ petition. There is no need to implead the Regional Central Apprenticeship Adviser/Director of Training, Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), Chennai, as party respondent in this writ petition.
7. In view of the above, writ petition is dismissed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner, to challenge the reply letter, dated 14.02.2018, if so advised, in the manner known to law.
