Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling upon the production of records relating to the detention order dated 27.05.2019 made in detention order in 06/DM/RO/D2/PPASAA/2019 under Section (2) and (3) of the Pudhucherry Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008 as a "Dangerous Person" passed by the 2nd respondent herein quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Thiru Sasi @ Sasikumar son of Ayyanar who is aged 38 who has been detained in Central Prison, Pudhucherry before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that since the detention order was passed on 27.05.2019, the period of detention was already over and the prayer has become infructuous.

3.In view of the above said submission, this Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
