ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with 10 percent interest as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner had joined in the service of the first respondent Corporation as Tradesman on 09.03.1987. He served in various posts of first respondent Corporation and retired on 30.06.2022. Based on his salary, he was settled with terminal benefits on 30.06.2022. However, the 14th wage settlement was arrived on 24.08.2022 and the revised wage was given effect from 01.09.2019. Insofar as the monetary benefits is

concerned, it was given effect from 01.01.2022. Accordingly, the petitioner's salary was revised and his pension was also revised in the month of March, 2023. However, the difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears were not settled so far. Hence, the petitioner submitted representation for disbursal of the said allowances.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to disburse the difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with applicable interest as per the 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
