PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.PC to direct the respondents to furnish copy of the Insurance Police, RC Book, Permit, driving license of the Lorry bearing Regisration No.TN-34-L-5466 involved in Cr.No.397 of 2018, FIR dated 31.07.2018 registered with the 2nd respondent.

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to furnish copy of the Insurance Police, RC Book, Permit, driving license of the Lorry bearing Regisration No.TN-34-L-5466 involved in Cr.No.397 of 2018.

The petitioner is the victim, who suffered an accident due to the rash and negligent driving of the lorry and sustained grievious injuries and he took treatment for more than 9 days. The petitioner wants to proceed against the owner and driver of the lorry seeking for compensation and therefore, he requires certain documents which are available with the respondent police.

This Court disposes of this Criminal Original petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to furnish a copy of the Insurance Police, RC Book, Permit, driving license of the Lorry bearing Regisration No.TN-34-L-5466
