Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to implement the recommendations in the report submitted by the High Level Committee constituted under G.O.(D).No.112, Higher Education (K1) Department, dated 11.04.2023 to cause an enquiry into the allegations said to have been committed in awarding promotion in Annamalai University, Chidambaram under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to implement the recommendations in the report submitted by the High Level Committee constituted under G.O.(D).No.112, Higher Education (K1) Department, dated 11.04.2023.
2. Mrs.Nalini Chidambaram, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that while pending writ petition, High Level Committee submitted report on 07.11.2023. However, so far no order has been passed to comply the Government Order.
3. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the 2/4
final report has been received and the first respondent had sent a communication dated 08.02.2024. On receipt of the same, final order has been passed on 17.02.2024 itself.
4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to implement the recommendations in the report submitted by the High Level Committee dated 11.04.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
