ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondents for committing willful disobedience of the order of the High Court of Madras dated 21.01.2020 passed in W.P.No.35512 of 2019.

2.Pursuant to the statutory notice issued by this Court, Dr.G.Arivoli, Director of Elementary Education and Ms.B.Girija, Block Development Officer, Pallipattu were present at the time of hearing. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the orders passed by this Court has been complied with. The proceedings of the Director of Elementary Education dated 17.02.2022 was produced before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the arrears of pay is yet to be settled to the petitioner.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader sought for some time to settle the amount.

6.In view of the above development, this contempt petition is closed and there shall be a direction to the respondents to settle the arrears of salary, within a period of six weeks from today.
