This Writ Petition has been filed to to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2019 in accordance with Law.
2. It is averred in the Writ Petition that the petitioner owned a vast extent of property measuring 1.21 acres of punja land in various survey numbers at Valapadi Post, Valapadi Taluk, Salem District. He owns private temple namely, Pudupatti Mariamman Temple in the said land. Due to the petitioner's old age, the administration was entrusted to some third parties. However, without any notice and enquiry, the Temple was taken by the HR and CE Department. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 27.09.2019, requesting the respondents to permit to administer the temple. Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 2/4
4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition. Without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2019, and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
