ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with 10% interest as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner was joined in the service of the 1st respondent's corporation as conductor on 29.11.1992. He holds various posts and due to his attainment age of superannuation, he retired from service on 30.04.2020 and settled with all terminal benefits as on 30.04.2020. The 14th wage settlement was arrived on 24.08.2022 and wage revision was given effect from 01.09.2019 and monetary benefits was given effect from 01.01.2022. As per the wage settlement, his pay was revised and based on that, the revised pay pension was also revised in the month of March 2023. However, difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension 2/4

arrears were not settled to the petitioner so far. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation to the respondents and the same is pending for consideration.

Considering, the above facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation and disburse the difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with applicable interest as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
