O R D E R

The present Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner with effect from 10.06.2008, the date on which his juniors were promoted as per the panel 2007-2008 and grant arrears of salary with all benefits.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pending Writ Petition, the petitioner was promoted on par with his juniors and that nothing survives in this Writ Petition and made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
