This criminal original petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 29.11.2017 in CM.P. 6778/2017 in C.C. 421/2009 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram and to issue a direction or any other appropriate orders, order or direction directing the Regional passport office Chennai to renew the passport of the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent submitted that C.C.No.421 of 2009 itself disposed of and entered in acquittal on 01.08.2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram.
