ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 02.01.2026 appropriate orders and if there is any audit paras raised against the Petitioner in Tambaram City Municipal Corporation that may be settled within a reasonable period as may be fixed by this Court considering the fact that the Petitioner is due to retire on 30.06.2026.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026 within a specified time.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
